Spanish Beauty Brand NAOBAY – Natural & Organic, Beauty & You – Now Available in the UK
NAOBAY was born out of one Spanish family’s history in cosmetics formulation. The father with a strong background in the industry, set up his own factory. Upon completing their studies, the son (with a mechanical engineering degree) and daughter (with a pharmacy degree) joined the business. After years of experience, they decided to create their own brand with their own approach of what cosmetic products should be. Tired of ordinary designs, cumbersome labels, uncomfortable packaging and boring products, especially as related to organic cosmetics, they set about creating something different, and so NAOBAY was born.
NAOBAY is about beauty products that care for people and the environment, with clear messaging, simple designs, clean packaging but most importantly effective products. They take pride in their continuous research and development of new products, whilst meeting the ECOCERT standard of organic products. All products are labelled clearly with the percentages of natural and organic ingredients intheir products, and no ingredients suspected of having long-term risk to human health are used; such as petrochemicals, artificial preservatives or colours, parabens, silicones, mineral oils, SLS/SLES, formaldehyde, dioxins, ethoxylated material, paraffin/petrolatum, isothiazolinones (MI), PEGs or BHT.
NAOBAY truly believe natural products and organic products are better for both our bodies and the environment. That is why NAOBAY use the best natural and organic emollients (moisturising ingredients such as argan oil, olive oil and rosehip oil) and natural emulsifying systems that come from sugar cane. All of NAOBAY’s formulas are biodegradable, never tested on animals, and neither to NAOBAY work with laboratories that have facilities for animal experimentation. All products are vegan, and no ingredients are genetically modified or grown with pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge or ionizing radiation.
NAOBAY’s containers are recyclable and come from recycled material already. The wood used is certified by FSC, and also recycled from the waste of the timber industry in the area where NAOBAY is produced.

Facial masks can be part of a huge beauty expense for women (and metrosexuals!). If the consumer chooses to pursue organic products, then the outlay may be even higher. So why not spend some time and save some money making your own facial masks at home? You can make all kinds of facial masks at home and be safe in the knowledge that they are all natural, all organic. Additionally, you can also take advantage of your fresh ingredients leftover to make DIY facial masks.
Anti-ageing is what almost every woman wants from her skincare. But anti-ageing products can be expensive and not always full of nice, skin-loving ingredients. One ingredient we love to use in our masks is PAPAYAS! Papayas are full of alpha hydroxy acids, vitamins A and C, and polyphenols which can moisturise your skin and dissolve dead skin cells.
What you need:
½ fresh papaya, peeled and seeded
1 cup pineapple
1 tablespoon honey
Ice cube tray
Blend ALL ingredients using a fork or blender
If you cannot puree them well, add a bit more water
Pour into ice cube trays and put in the freezer
That was easy, wasn’t it? And just pop out a cube of papaya puree when you want to enjoy a facial mask, let it melt and using your fingertips or a brush apply it to your face. Massage and rinse off. This mask naturally exfoliates whilst purifying, but be warned your skin may be slightly pink after use! Just don’t use shortly before going out for a date or function.

One of the Biggest Skincare Beauty Trends of 2015: Done Organically!
The UK are always looking to Asian countries such as Korea for the latest beauty trend. Whitening Skin treatments, the 7 Step Beauty Regime, and now Sheet Masks. All over Cosmeeting Beyond Beauty and Cosmoprof this year, the organic version is now here from Green Energy Organics: Quick Lift Therapy.
Available in a full face sheet mask and under eye area masks, these sheet masks are infused with plant stem cells, antioxidant rice starch, hyaluronic acid, grape seed oil and
more to work in four ways –
Age Defence – pomegranate and grape seed oil help to fortify the skin and restore its comfortable feel and youthful look.
Firming – organic seabuckthorn and marjoram plant stem cells help diminish fine lines and wrinkles whilst restoring natural moisture levels.
Anti-Ageing – orange flower extract and blackcurrant stem cells
help revive skin luminosity, stimulate cell turnover, deeply moisturise and firm.
Prevents the appearance of age spots/pigmentation, and promotes an even skin tone – green tea stem cells and orange flowers help fight sagging skin and restore skin’s structure.
Green Energy Organics is formulated by founder Wilma Scarton in conjunction with the world-renowned Pavia Institute. In a study of 60 women undertaken by the institute, 96% of women found their skin to be more luminous, and 89% said their skin felt revitalised after just one use.
With the Christmas party season just around the corner, this mask is the perfect pick-me-up for the morning after the night before, nobody has to know you’ve had a late night!
